One Possible Profile of a Biological Terrorist I may not be one of those FBI "profilers," but I can tell you one thing about whoever is sending those anthrax-laced letters to Washington, DC. Either they are a grade school dropout with an incredibly sophamoric understanding of how this government operates or they have serious delusions of grandeur. Any relatively coherent individual who is even basically familiar with the workings of government should know that a letter from some ordinary schmuck like you or me doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell of ever making it to a Senator or Congressman - let alone the President. Heck, it probably won't even make it into the same building with them. The "access" to our so-called "elected representatives" that children in grade school are obligatorily taught they have is actually reserved for major campaign contributors. All your filthy, low-life, middle class tax dollars buy you is the illusion of access. Long before the anthrax scare, Washington was suffering from an "AIDS" epidemic. Congressional AIDS(aides), that is. All correspondence from "the great unwashed" is handled by staffers so low on the totem pole that "the honored gentleman" probably doesn't even know their name - let alone yours. In response to your heartfelt plea, they just plug some basic information into a form letter and sweep you under the rug. Accordingly, we have to assume that whoever is sending those anthrax-laced letters to Washington is either a total idiot, or they have a grossly exaggerated sense of their own importance. |
